Material Planner - Vac / Special Bay

Job Summary
Material Planner-Combo/Excavator is responsible for facilitating the flow of parts into the Combo and Excavator Departments. Duties include analyzing usage to set up ROP/ROQ Points and Replenishment Methods on new and current parts; scanning buy cards into the kanban database; reviewing scans for approval/rejection; expediting needed parts with the production floor and Purchasing; breaking down work orders and ordering parts; maintaining work order packets for upcoming units; participating in Kaizen events; and performing related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing Experience Preferred
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite related software
- Proficient in Smartsheet, Power BI and other data software
- Strong communication skills are required to interact with internal customers
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and follow through on order completion
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
