Job Summary
Coordinate production and repair planning to meet demand, oversee planning performance, and optimize resources across people, equipment, and subcontractors. Define planning standards, ensure data accuracy, monitor stock levels, and adjust plans to balance demand, capacity, and industrial constraints. Support the Master Planner and APRU Manager in building and executing the Production & Repair Plan; analyze workload/capacity and implement solutions for short-term disruptions; maintain ERP updates and track industrial cycles. This role emphasizes ERP/MRP/PLM proficiency, master scheduling, and continuous improvement to sustain efficient manufacturing/repair operations at Thales. Pre-employment police checks are required, and Australian citizenship with eligibility for Defence security clearance is needed to be considered. Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP, PLM, and industrial information systems
- Experience with Just-in-Time and continuous improvement tools (5S, Gemba, PDCA)
- Confident using digital tools and dashboards for analysis and decision support
- Excellent communicator with strong collaboration, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Demonstrated rigour and ability to work effectively without direct people management
