Material Planner

Job Summary
Material Planner responsible for executing regional raw and packaging material planning to ensure material supply sufficiency and optimize costs on the short-term horizon. Will create POs from system-generated requisitions, collaborate with suppliers to confirm dates, manage exception messages for production needs, drive KPI improvements, maintain strong partnerships with manufacturing sites, and define/influence planning parameters and inventory targets to optimize service, risk, and cost. Requires at least a bachelor’s degree and/or 4+ years of supply chain planning experience, with preferred SAP/Advanced Planning experience and 2+ years in inbound planning for a consumer-packaged goods environment. Onsite role based in Franklin, TN with standard business hours and potential flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years of Supply Chain work experience
- 1+ years of experience in Planning (Materials, Supply, Demand, etc.), Inbound Logistics, or Purchasing/Procurement
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed (outside of working hours, generally 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Bachelor's Degree within Supply Chain
- 2+ years experience in planning inbound raw and packaging with a CPG company
- Experience using SAP and Advanced Planning Systems
