Job Summary
Material Planner responsible for coordinating material availability to support production schedules and meet customer requirements and On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals. Works cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Production, Shipping, Quality and Sales to ensure timely visibility of material availability, delivery risks, and order fulfillment status. Based in West Los Angeles, CA with a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days onsite per week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Responsibilities include tracking shipments, communicating supply shortages and delays, maintaining planning reports and delivery schedules, utilizing ERP/MRP systems, supporting continuous improvement in planning and procurement, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of planning, procurement, or logistics
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
- Background check and drug test clearance required
