Job Summary
Determine required materials and generate production schedules while ensuring consistent supply levels. Coordinate with internal departments and external sources to meet deadlines and oversee supply and delivery. Track production volume, monitor demand patterns, and raise inventory issues or schedule changes. Seek ways to improve efficiency and quality within your role while supporting broader company-wide improvement projects. This position sits on the Sales and Executive Team, offering direct influence on enterprise growth and strategic partnerships at Workhorse, a leading electric vehicle company focused on sustainable last-mile delivery solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems
- Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic only
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
- Clean driving record, no more than 4 active points for moving violations
- No references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years
