Job Summary
Review and execute production schedules using Oracle/MRP systems, then plan, organize, and control production activities to ensure product flow. Coordinate material pick/issue, serialization, and lot splits while maintaining inventory control and traceability. Initiate requisitions to purchasing for materials and services, communicate delivery schedules, and participate in readiness and demand reviews. Interface with other departments to address material flow interruptions and recommend solutions for scheduling conflicts. Backup storeroom associates and planners as needed.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
- Bachelor's degree
- Materials management experience
- Manufacturing planning / scheduling 4-6 yrs
- Stockroom, Expediter, and Capacity planning experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP, MRP, MS Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to lift objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transport a distance of 10 feet
