Material Planner

Material Planner role in Charleston, SC focusing on planning and coordinating supply from Mankiewicz production facilities, other production facilities, and external vendors in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, global Material Planning, global Purchasing, and external service and material suppliers. Responsibilities include MRP for raw materials, intermediates, finished goods, recertification, and batch traceability; creating and reporting deviations to KPI benchmarks to the Supply Chain Manager; maintaining accurate SAP master data; placing, scheduling, and monitoring purchase orders internally and with external vendors; planning and ordering consumables; scheduling overseas container shipments to Mankiewicz warehouses; coordinating inventories; scheduling production and determining optimal batch sizes; and travel domestically and internationally. Required and preferred qualifications include High school diploma or equivalent; ability to communicate effectively; experience with SAP (preferred); familiarity with CIP, FMEA (preferred); proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; ability to work independently; and physical requirements such as lifting up to 20 pounds and ability to travel.
