Job Summary
Monitor daily supplier schedules, develop recovery plans, and maintain accurate inventory balances while working with engineering on material changes. Manage MRP system setups for supplier orders, coordinate transportation plans with internal logistics, and track freight costs against budget. Execute cycle counts, support warehouse management and dock clerk duties, and ensure proper 5S in storage areas. Complete special assignments and update department procedures as needed. This hands-on role requires flexibility to work on the manufacturing floor and proficiency with ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Proficient computer skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent Problem Solving skills
- Must be a hands on person, willing to work on the manufacturing floor as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing plant experience
- Prior material scheduling experience using ERP system
- Prior logistics experience
- Material packaging experience
