Job Summary

Conduct process assurance for material transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns, by verifying documentation and ensuring accurate entry into inventory management systems. Supervise and coordinate daily tasks of Material Handlers to ensure timely movement and compliance with HSE, quality, and housekeeping standards. Monitor receiving, binning, picking, staging, and dispatching activities while supporting cycle counts and inventory audits. Act as a liaison between handlers and the Material Coordinator to align with operational requirements and safety practices. Provide training on procedures and process changes, and report discrepancies or delays for resolution. Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to update material availability and delivery schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or materials handling environment
  • Onshore / offshore construction project materials co-ordination experience
  • Working knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse management tools
  • Experience supervising or leading small teams
  • Familiarity with international and local material handling standards and safety practices
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work effectively, prioritize and develop realistic action plans in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Seeks ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and trustworthiness
  • Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly
  • Proficient in Computer Applications including word processing and spreadsheet applications (MS Word & Excel)

Desired Qualifications

  • Onshore / offshore construction project materials co-ordination experience will be an asset
  • Experience supervising or leading small teams is an asset
