Material Manager

Lead and develop a cross-functional materials team (Assistant Material Managers, Logistics Specialists, Coordinators, and Planners); establish standardized systems for reporting and data integrity; align production schedules with manufacturing and customers; ensure receiving processes and transactions protect inventory integrity; drive team performance through coaching and evaluation; manage supplier relationships for performance and alignment to operational objectives; oversee end-to-end material flow and timely procurement of production components; monitor inventory health, cycle counts, and accuracy to meet targets; evaluate equipment and service capabilities to align with production volumes; lead continuous improvement and cost reduction across materials, logistics, and packaging; establish and track KOIs to drive accountability; oversee packaging and logistics strategies including premium freight reduction and routing optimization; maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and Min/Max inventories; ensure documentation and compliance with standards; promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols; support additional business needs as required by leadership.
