Job Summary
Senior Material Logistics role focused on planning and purchasing for the Material group, establishing manpower forecasts based on strategic plans, building production/manufacturing plans and budgets, coordinating material logistics actions, and applying root-cause corrective actions to maintain customer focus. Requires ability to forecast, manage inventory and build policies, participate in senior management reviews, and travel/overtime may be required. Emphasis on coordinating with cross-functional teams and representing the department with strong organization and communication skills in a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Materials Management, Business Management, Operations Management or equivalent
- APICS certification, (C.P.I.M.) PMAC certification preferred
- 5 years’ experience in a computerized manufacturing environment
