Material Inspector

Inspect and verify all construction materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with RTA specifications, approved submittals, and contract requirements. Carry out sampling and witnessing of laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel as per approved ITPs. Monitor storage, handling, and protection of materials to prevent contamination, segregation, or damage. Coordinate with the Material Engineer and Site Engineer regarding testing schedules, approvals, and material-related issues. Review and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) related to materials and civil works. Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and material logs for QA/QC and as-built documentation. Identify non-conforming materials, raise NCRs and site observations, and follow up on corrective actions. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, especially during material handling, sampling, and testing activities. Report daily site activities, material inspections, and testing status to the Material Engineer / Resident Engineer. Minimum of 7 years of experience in the UAE. Knowledge with the local authority procedure, standards and regulations in UAE is essential. BEng or MEng in Civil engineering.
