Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Ensures accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks; handles day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading); provides technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours. May require basic GMP knowledge; some locations may perform background checks for forklift operation. Works in a team-focused, safety-conscious environment with a flexible schedule (Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM) at the Calgary, Canada location. The role emphasizes accuracy, initiative, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. Accommodations are available upon request during the recruitment process.
