Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, then accurately store items in designated warehouse locations. Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas based on work orders while operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely. Assist panel builders with component staging, kitting, and preparation, including mounting DIN rails, terminal blocks, and devices under supervision. Perform basic wiring tasks such as labeling and terminations, read schematics, and conduct quality checks to ensure builds meet standards. Coordinate material flow between warehouse and production, maintain clean storage areas using 5S principles, and escalate any discrepancies. This role supports cross-functional teams in panel build operations within a manufacturing environment requiring PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (or willingness to be trained)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read work orders, pick lists, and basic documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Basic computer skills (ERP or inventory systems preferred)
- Experience in electrical panel building or industrial assembly
- Familiarity with electrical components and tools
- Ability to read electrical schematics or layout drawings
- Forklift certification
- Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S principles
