Material Handling Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all material handling, warehousing, receiving, kitting, and internal logistics operations while supervising and developing supervisors and associates across assigned shifts. Coordinate material flow to ensure timely delivery to production lines based on schedules and BOM requirements, establish staffing plans, and maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and audits. Oversee proper storage and tracking of materials, collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering, and Quality teams, and monitor processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards including OSHA and EPA requirements. Utilize ERP/WMS/MES systems to track inventory and generate reports, identify equipment and tooling needs, and maintain accurate records and KPIs related to productivity and material movement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- 5–7 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics within a manufacturing environment
- Prior supervisory or management experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
