Seeking an experienced Material Handler- Forklift Operator with at least 3 years of forklift experience to operate heavy equipment and move sizeable items such as lumber and industrial machinery. Responsibilities include lifting materials weighing 50 to 80 lbs, ensuring safety protocols, following directions, identifying problems, and supporting manufacturing processes. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience (minimum 3 years preferred)
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift
- Experience moving sizeable items
- Must be able to lift, move, push and pull materials of 50 to 80 lbs.
- Be very alert, cautious, and detail oriented
- Ability to follow precise directions
- Ability to identify problems and quality issues
- Support manufacturing processes and provide support to line Supervisor and line staff
- Must attend work every day and be reliable
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Must follow all work rules, safety and instructions
- Be held accountable for their work and report/communicate hazards and issues
