Job Summary
Senior Material Handling Engineer on the Piping team based in Kuala Lumpur. Responsible for developing material handling strategies for onshore plant, equipment, and materials; designing and approving handling systems including lifting plans, slinging arrangements, and transportation methods for heavy and oversized equipment; planning lifting, transportation, and installation activities for large modules, equipment, and materials; conducting risk assessments; implementing safety procedures and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations during handling, lifting, and transportation; supporting procurement activities; ensuring all handling activities comply with project specifications and international standards; stay updated with industry best practices; experience with Aveva SP3D/E3D and Intergraph SP3D; brownfield EPC Oil & Gas projects; degree in Mechanical Engineering; 10+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of working experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical field (especially EPC project experience)
- Able to understand Aveva 3D Tool E3D or Intergraph SP3D
- Technical sound in Material Handling and HFE
- Experience working with 3D system (SP3D/E3D)
- Working experience in brownfield project
