Job Summary
Oversee shipping/receiving and material handling at LMV Automotive Systems; optimize material flow with Kanban and VSM; manage Kanban levels and ERP/WMS updates; supervise AMR operations and hostler duties; lead continuous improvement and team development; ensure safety and 5S compliance; participate in manpower planning and recruiting; develop team members through coaching and mentoring; establish cross-department communication and manage annual counts and changes impacting material flow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 6 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Thoroughly knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Kanban, JIT and Logistics manufacturing high volume tangible goods
- APICS certification desired
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong skills in Value Stream Mapping
- RFID knowledge in implementation and operation
- Proficient in leading pull implementations at various levels of the Supply Chain (External and Internal Suppliers)
- Experience with FIFO, PFEP, and other Lean or continuous improvements concepts and practices (Kaizens highly desired)
