Job Summary
Material Handler in the Production Department based in Norwood, NJ, responsible for safely transporting raw materials, WIP, and finished goods with forklifts; stocking production areas (printing, slitting, pouch, extrusion); returning unused materials to inventory and updating locations; transferring finished goods to the finishing department; issuing materials to production; performing pre-shift equipment inspections; maintaining accurate inventory in computerized systems; conducting routine safety checks; supporting recycling initiatives and continuous improvement; collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality and production goals; 100% onsite on the first shift; manufacturing/warehouse environment experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Experience operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to enter and manage inventory in computerized systems
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality standards
- Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred: Familiarity with ISO or SQF quality standards
- Preferred: Experience supporting safety or sustainability programs
