Job Summary
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties including processing incoming stock, picking orders, maintaining inventory controls, and operating warehouse equipment. Essential functions include safely picking orders for shipment, utilizing a handheld scanner for order processing, maintaining records of completed orders, inspecting outgoing products to ensure quality, and maintaining a clean work environment. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate basic math and computer skills, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Proficiency in basic mathematics, multitasking, and computer skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse role
- Previous experience using forklifts, pickers and pallet jacks
Additional Requirements
- Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
- Employees may be exposed to dust, dirt, heat, cold, fumes, noise, and water
