Job Summary
Locate and transport parts to specified welding areas using a scanner, ensuring all labels remain visible and legible. Perform daily checks on the forklift and complete associated paperwork. Maintain housekeeping in the weld stores area by removing debris and placing manufacturing waste in appropriate containers. Operate a JOST International Fork Truck with valid certification while complying with quality, environmental, safety, and company policies. Work 100% of the time in a production plant, regularly standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate scanner to locate and transport appropriate materials to specified welding areas
- Ability to obtain JOST International Fork Truck Certification
- Ability to gain knowledge of company products
- Comply with quality, environmental, safety and Jost company policies and procedures
- Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time
- While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance
