Material Handler - Warehouse

Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders. Accurately label, store, and stage materials in designated warehouse locations. Pick, pack, and prepare materials and finished goods for internal production use or outbound shipment. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts if certified. Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP or warehouse management systems. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits. Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and material traceability requirements. Ensure all materials are handled in compliance with ESD, safety, and quality standards. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety guidelines. Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Full-time role requiring ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, packing lists, and shipping documents
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, overtime, or weekends
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Visual acuity sufficient for reading labels and operating equipment safely
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or ERP systems
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
