Job Summary
Material Handler at Avantor moves raw materials and parts between production areas, coordinates schedules for pulling/delivering materials to regulate production flow, and safely operates equipment (forklifts, hoists, cranes). Responsibilities include unloading inbound shipments, inspecting for damage or mis-shipments, signing for inbound when required, picking and transporting orders to shipping locations using material-handling equipment, labeling/palletizing as needed, verifying outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy through counts and computer entries. Requires operating powered equipment, maintaining a clean, safe work area, adhering to OSHA standards, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Based in Suwanee, GA, Monday–Friday 7am-3:30pm; full-time. Education: High School/GED preferred. Related experience with powered equipment (reach trucks and order pickers) and OSHA/HazMat certifications a plus.
Required Qualifications

- Experience operating powered equipment (reach trucks and order pickers)
- OSHA Forklift certification a plus
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Familiarity with warehouse systems
- Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety
