Job Summary
Basic warehousing duties including order fulfillment and packing an assortment of products from multiple distribution locations. Perform duties via manual documents or computerized devices with emphasis on Safety, Accuracy, and Productivity. Use handheld scanners and PCs; identify task lists for picking; pack, store, and redistribute items; pick and stock merchandise from designated locations; meet production goals; prevent inventory shrinkage; assist with training new hires; communicate with peers; maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstations; follow safety regulations and healthy work place practices. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with two-person lift for heavier loads); work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
- One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to operate personal computer or computerized scanning and printing devices
- Language Skills: Ability to read English to interpret safety rules and procedures
- Mathematical Skills: basic arithmetic
- Reasoning Ability: logical task execution and problem solving
- Ability to work onsite and participate in onsite meetings regularly
