Job Summary
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and power trucks to move materials, parts, and finished goods within the plant, office, or warehouse. Verify labels on boxes, match them to pallets, and maintain records while adhering to clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines. Perform routine tasks involving unloading trucks, stacking pallets under 25 lbs, and scanning items in a metrics-driven environment. Requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in extreme temperatures without air conditioning. High school diploma required with zero to one year of warehouse experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Forklift & Pallet jack capability
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Must be able to verify labels on boxes and matching to pallets
- Attention to detail is essential
- Scanning experience is needed
- Stand up forklift experience needed
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
