Job Summary
Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the plant, office, or warehouse. Maintain records and adhere to quality guidelines while following clearly defined SOPs and scientific methods. Complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps under general to limited supervision. Requires a high school diploma, zero to one year of warehouse experience, and the ability to lift over 50 lbs. The role involves regular walking, standing, stooping, lifting, and exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and moving mechanical parts. This 12-month contract position offers $16–20/hr across all shifts in El Paso, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed
- Basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs
