Job Summary
Palletize boxes and break down large pallets into smaller units while maintaining records. Adhere strictly to defined SOPs and quality guidelines while performing routine tasks under general supervision. Lift and move materials weighing over 50 lbs, requiring regular walking, standing, and repetitive motion. Work 40 hours weekly from 10:30am to 7:00pm in Covington, GA, with no air conditioning during summer months. Requires a high school diploma, basic math skills, and ability to read English documents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move over 50 lbs
