Job Summary
Material Handler in a warehouse setting: responsible for safe and efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials to support production and shipping. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, receiving and checking materials, operating a forklift (Hilo) to transport materials, organizing and stacking materials on pallets, performing data entry and inventory counting with basic math, using a tape measure for material verification, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Requires adherence to PPE guidelines and company safety policies; works independently with minimal supervision and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Basic math and counting skills
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Hilo (forklift) experience preferred
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety
- Reliable and self-motivated with ability to work under minimal supervision
