Job Summary
Stock supplies to maintain required inventory levels in all clinical areas, rotate and reprocess stock to ensure items are current, and conduct physical inventory of supply locations. Handle all stat requirements quickly and accurately while controlling par levels through daily reordering and automated/manual re-supply systems. Distribute, transport, and receive med/surg supplies, equipment, food, and patients as necessary, ensuring chargeable items have accurate stickers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with health and safety regulations and assisting in year-end physical inventory. Prioritize responsibilities to complete duties without supervision while supporting the Inventory Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Requires the use of ordinary arithmetic
- Demonstrates ability to understand verbal and written communication
- Strong background in materials management
- Must be able to complete tasks without supervision
- Must be able to move wheeled equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior hospital experience
- 1 year as a distribution aid recommended
