Job Summary
Hands-on Material Handler role within the Supply Chain department responsible for day-to-day materials operations across shipping/receiving, stockroom, and inventory management. Ensure parts and components are accurately received, stored, kitted, and shipped to support satellite production. Maintain efficiency and accuracy across the full materials workflow, conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory, manage order fulfillment for small parcel, LTL, and freight shipments, and prepare shipping documents. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Program Management; work with internal/external personnel to resolve inquiries; ensure safe handling and compliance with safety standards and ITAR-related requirements. Requires 2+ years in shipping/receiving and inventory, experience with international shipping, and proficiency with MS Office and Atlassian tools. Physical duties include handling up to 25 pounds and flexible/non-standard shifts; aerospace experience and forklift proficiency are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving, inventory, and stockroom environments
- Proficient with email communication, computer programs and software interfaces (MS Office, Atlassian tools)
- Flexible schedule and ability to work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends
- Hands-on international shipping experience, preparing and documenting exports, coordinating with freight forwarders, and managing global shipments
- Experience in aerospace/launch services industry (preferred)
- 2+ years forklift experience (preferred)
- Experience with international freight (air, ocean, ground) and customs brokers (preferred)
- Proficiency with HTS codes, ECCN determination, and related documentation for imports/exports (preferred)
- ITAR-related access considerations (if applicable)
