Job Summary
Handles and maintains the flow of materials and products on the premises under direct supervision; lifts, carries, and stacks items; operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment; responds to training from foreman to learn processes; adheres to safety procedures and attends periodic safety meetings; no supervisory responsibilities; work is in a production environment with potential exposure to chemicals, noise, and dust; may involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling; on-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- entry level position with on-the-job training
- Knowledge of motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures while performing materials handling tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds, repeatedly
