Job Summary
Conduct safe pick-up of regulated medical waste, lab plastics, and pathological materials from client sites in Durham, NC. Operate the computerized waste tracking system and prepare all necessary documentation for drop-offs. Adhere to OSHA regulations and Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices while wearing personal protective equipment. Collaborate with coworkers and clients to ensure timely waste removal. This role requires Saturday and Sunday availability, the ability to lift 60 pounds, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday
- Flexible weekdays off
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs promptly and professionally
- Ability to follow written and verbal safety instructions
- Ability to work as a team player
- Eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds or more on a regular basis
- Must be able to put on and take off personal protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior relevant industry experience
- Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification
- Understands and follows the safety precautions
