Job Summary
Prioritize orders and special projects with Operations Management while moving steel bar and tube within the facility using forklifts and overhead cranes. Maintain product traceability, organize material storage systems, and perform hardness tests and dimension verifications on steel products. Package material for shipment and participate in inventory cycle counts as needed. Report any deficiencies to Management or Supervisor and comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies. This role supports Tube Supply's delivery of quality steel tube and bar for oil and gas applications in high-pressure environments.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced Material Handler using forklift and/or overhead crane
- Excellent forklift skills
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
