Job Summary
Unload shipments, organize materials in designated storage areas, and load outgoing trucks while inspecting goods for damage. Safely move raw materials and finished products between departments, perform daily equipment inspections, and maintain 5S standards. Review paperwork to locate parts, follow shipping documents, and communicate with project managers regarding production schedules. Requires forklift training, physical stamina for driving and standing, and adaptability to changing demands. Located at 160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON, with a dedicated day shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Prior forklift training and experience
- Previous material handling experience in an industrial setting
- Must be able to drive (90%)
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to climb
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of MRP/ERP systems
