Job Summary
Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and reorganize storage materials. Ensure orderly production by pulling orders from inventory, delivering supplies, and staging finished products. Locate materials by verifying items against production schedules and contribute to stock storage operations. Empty scrap hoppers, conduct bin audits to verify safe working conditions, and maintain proper packaging and shipping procedures. Regularly clean and inspect equipment, reporting repairs as needed. Adhere to all company policies regarding health, safety, quality, and human resources.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to find information
- Ability to document relevant information
- Knowledge of computers
- Ability to retain information
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 23kg (50lbs)
Desired Qualifications
- Valid forklift certificate
- Valid overhead crane certificate
- 1-3 years' experience in a production environment
