Job Summary
Load, unload, and transport raw fiberglass insulation and facing materials to support continuous laminating production using forklifts and approved equipment. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure proper storage and labeling of all goods. Prepare outgoing shipments, conduct quality control checks, and document material movements within the ERP system while operating forklifts safely in compliance with OSHA standards. Perform daily safety inspections, maintain clean aisles, and handle hazardous materials under supervision. Requires valid forklift certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, Bills of Lading, Picking Lists, and Packing Slips accurately
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace
- Required PPE: Safety glasses and OSHA-compliant safety-toed footwear
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling operations
- Familiarity with fiberglass insulation, facing materials, or metal building insulation manufacturing
