Job Summary
Ensure a constant supply of materials, parts, and components to designated work areas by moving materials between departments and assisting with loading and unloading. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment while following work orders and instructions. Properly strap, brace, and pad materials to prevent transit damage. Work 7am to 3:30pm at a manufacturing and distribution organization, earning $13.00 per hour with health insurance and paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs continously
- Ability to read and follow work orders and written instructions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience safely operating forklifts and other material movement equipment preferred
