Job Summary
Material Handler position responsible for moving raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift; may operate cranes and other material-handling equipment; loads/unloads trucks and verifies items, picks and packs orders, and may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw; conducts cycle counts and inspects forklifts; adheres to health, safety, ISO, and 6S requirements; performs general clean-up and supports additional duties as directed by supervisor or team lead; safety sensitive role requiring pre-employment drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write English (and French in Quebec)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform basic math
- Previous forklift experience
- Ability to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
