Job Summary
Operate a Bendi forklift and handheld scanner to pull production batch tickets, process returns, and put away newly received freight. Load, unload, and move materials within the plant, yard, or work site using industrial trucks, handtrucks, and dollies. Pull materials from the warehouse to the production floor, assist in cycle counting, and perform basic data entry on computer systems. Lift and stack items on pallets, trays, and racks while maintaining safety standards and meeting timelines. Maintain equipment by lubricating trucks, recharging batteries, and refueling.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 or more years of warehouse experience
- Experience with Bendi forklift
- Valid US Driver's License
- Must be fork lift certified
- Must have computer skills
- Must be able to lift
- Read and write English fluently
- Mastery of basic math
- Able to lift minimum of 80 pounds on a regular basis
- Work with minimum supervision
- Great attention to detail
- Communicate well with coworkers verbally and in writing
- Operate calculator and know how to use a handheld scanner
- Operate heavy equipment including forklift, box truck, and genie lift
- Perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately and safely
- Must customarily have a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety
