Job Summary
Coordinate inventory availability with Production and Procurement departments by receiving work order pre-pull material lists. Process all received shipments to ensure materials meet purchase order specifications, comparing quantities and types against waybills, packing slips, and purchase orders. Unload parts and package products for fabrication and detail departments while identifying short, over, or damaged shipments. Notify the supervisor of irregularities and stock reaching re-order points, and assist with cycle and physical inventory counts. Requires forklift certification, ability to lift 50lbs, and own transportation due to location inaccessibility via public transit.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Proficient in identifying materials by dimensions (metric and imperial)
- Must have CSA approved safety boots
- Must be able to manually lift up to 50lbs
- Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Active forklift certification an asset
- Experienced with proper rigging and overhead crane use an asset
