Job Summary
Pull packaging supplies per traveler, read job specifications, and move documentation to attach labels and tags to products. Place finished goods on designated pallets and transport them to shipping while maintaining acceptable quality standards. Perform housekeeping duties around the work center to keep isles clear, follow all safety policies, and operate machinery such as band saws and shrink wrap. Complete all required documentation accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to run and maintain machinery (band saw, shrink wrap, etc.)
- Required to perform basic math
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English
- Ability to write, fill out paperwork and keep track of time in English
- Ability to comprehend written and oral job instructions in English
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to bend and lift up to 45 pounds
- Proper lifting techniques required
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this job
- Use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection
