Job Summary
Handle and store materials for all departments while performing housekeeping duties in the warehouse and dock areas. Operate material handling equipment including fork trucks, change batteries, and use pallet jacks for product movement. Provide necessary products to production departments, weigh and label items, and return goods to proper storage locations per the KanBan system. Shrink wrap finished parts, manage KanBan boards, and cross-train in other warehouse functions as assigned. Maintain an eight-hour shift with the ability to lift 60 pounds and wear steel-toe footwear.
Required Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of walking for an eight-hour work shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to wear steel-toe footwear.
- Adequate visual acuity to qualify for a forklift license.
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack for product movement.
- Must be capable of climbing ladders/stairs for material changes.
- Requires the ability to obtain a forklift license per OSHA requirements.
- Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
- A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment.
