Job Summary
Handle and store materials for all departments while performing housekeeping duties in the warehouse and dock areas. Operate material handling equipment including fork trucks, change batteries, and perform cross-functional tasks such as shipping, receiving, label-making, and inventory management. Weigh and label product, shrink wrap finished parts, and return items to proper storage locations per the KanBan system. Remove KanBans from empty containers and place them on the board. Maintain physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds, walk eight-hour shifts, and climb ladders as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of walking for an eight-hour work shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to wear steel-toe footwear.
- Adequate visual acuity to qualify for a forklift license.
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack for product movement.
- Must be capable of climbing ladders/stairs for material changes.
- Requires the ability to obtain a forklift license per OSHA requirements.
- Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
- A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment.
