Job Summary
Locate containers or folders on shelving, remove items, and place them on streamliners facing the same direction. Move records to the disposal review area, palletize disposable records, and transport materials to assigned locations. Retrieve batched requests, sign out batches in logbooks, and verify accuracy before delivering documentation to the point of contact. Scan documents, remove fasteners, and validate image clarity while using a handheld mobile to complete data entry and verify project totals. Perform these duties in a warehouse environment for the National Archives and Records Administration. This full-time role includes an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday schedule with a pay rate of $19.81 plus $5.09 per hour in health and welfare funds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 30 to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Must be able to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high.
- Have the ability to pass a drug screen and a background check.
- This contract requires that all candidates are U.S. citizens.
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
