Job Summary
Load trucks accurately within prescribed timelines per load charts and process receiving paperwork, including Bill of Lading and pre-load inspection forms. Operate a stand-up forklift safely, completing required inspections and check-sheets before use, while performing product consolidations and BIN transfers. Conduct scheduled and impromptu inventory cycle counts and adhere to all SOPs, GMPs, and USDA/FDA safety rules. Work in a freezer environment throughout the 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm) at our Austin facility, lifting heavy loads and traveling production areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- 6 months of material handling in a warehouse environment
- Ability to drive a stand-up forklift
- Forklift driver certification
- Ability to work in freezer environment for long periods of time
- Ability to travel throughout Production areas
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, and lift heavy loads (75 lbs.)
- Ability to work flexible hours based upon needs of operation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous inventory control experience
- SAP experience
