Job Summary
Lead Material Handler with responsibility for coordinating daily material handling activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, issuing, and shipping of components and materials. Supports production readiness and production schedules, maintains inventory accuracy via cycle counts and ERP/MRP transactions, and provides day-to-day guidance and training to material handlers. Drives process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with shelf-life, lot traceability, and serialization requirements; supports internal, customer, and regulatory audits with proper documentation and traceability. Utilizes ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory transactions, generate reports, and escalate operational issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Prior experience in a lead or senior role with supervisory responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Physical ability to lift, push and pull materials and equipment
