Job Summary
Stage materials for each production run and fill hoppers to complete orders. Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot the automatic material handling system. Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) transactions and monitor raw material shipments. Keep accurate inventory and locations of plastic, regrind, and dye materials with lot-number traceability. Clean hoppers, filters, and material lines; mix plastic to correct quantities and ratios; grind scrap material in a timely manner. Maintain clean and organized work areas and molding machines, follow safety and confidentiality requirements, and perform other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with automatic plastic material conveying system —OR— 1 year Press Operating experience with Material Handling training
- Ability to operate forklift or the ability to obtain a forklift training and/or certification
- Basic understanding of material drying requirements
