Job Summary
Follow safety procedures and safety programs; support converting equipment; move and inspect wrapped/tagged products; transfer to storage areas; read jackets and specs; minimize damage; complete paperwork accurately; maintain SQF/GMP housekeeping; perform forklift inspections; participate in inventories; band and transport scrap; assist production/shipping; require lifting up to 50 lbs; 3-5 years material handling with forklift preferred; high school education required; pre-employment screenings including drug test and background check; night shift 8 pm–6 am with overtime as needed; benefits start Day One and include medical/dental/vision, 401k, vacation, holidays, and more
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent (college a plus)
- Preferred 3-5 years of material handling with a powered forklift in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs; navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, kneel throughout shift
- Must pass pre-employment screenings, drug test, and criminal background check
- Ability to read and interpret jackets, spec sheets, skid tags, and product load tags
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
