Job Summary
Material Handler role performing Slitting processes and operating equipment under minimum supervision to meet production schedules and quality standards. Responsibilities include operating forklift/crane to move belting material, ensuring materials are available per orders, retagging materials, assigning inventory location numbers, returning materials to proper racks, and maintaining accurate order forms and inventory tags. Requires ability to read order forms, understand inventory control tags, operate standard forklift/crane (4-way lift), completion of Siegling training programs, basic computer data entry, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently with occasional heavy lifting. Physical environment includes standing, walking, exposure to tools/machinery, and variable temperature/humidity. GED or High School equivalence is needed, with English and Metric reading ability, and capability to safely set up and operate related machinery and equipment.
