Job Summary
Loads, unloads, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site by reading work orders and following oral instructions. Open containers using hand tools, load materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves, and convey loads using hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, or cranes. Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, lift heavy objects by hand or power hoist, and make simple adjustments such as realigning belts or replacing rollers. Assemble crates to contain products and perform housekeeping to remove scrap material and re-stack inventory. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist machine operators by cleaning equipment. Work any shift schedule including nights and weekends in dusty environments, lifting at least 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends
- Ability to get your hands dirty in a dusty environment
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces and lifting at least 50 lbs
- Physical ability to climb in and out of equipment and sit for extended periods of time
- Able to perform all job functions safely

- Good attitude
